A comprehensive first session to get to know you and your horse. This includes postural and movement assessment, individualized bodywork and reviewing your horse's history, current needs and goals. We will finish with discussing observations, recommendations and any questions you may have.

Maintenance Bodywork
On-going bodywork session focused on supporting your horse's comfort, movement and overall well-being. We'll check in with how their body is feeling and moving, then tailor each session to what they need that day.

Support Packages
Support Plans are available for horses that benefit from more consistent bodywork, generally every 2 weeks or less. Whether they're returning to work, increasing their workload, or simply thrive with regular support, each plan is tailored to your horse's individual needs. Eligibility is determined based on your horse's individual needs and practitioner recommendation.

Before We Get Started...
What can equine bodywork help with?
Bodywork can help support comfort, mobility, muscular balance, recovery and overall movement. It can be beneficial for horses of all ages and disciplines. From Performance horses to recreational and retired horses.
What should I do with my horse before and after a session?
Horses should ideally be reasonably clean, dry and available in an area they are most comfortable in. Owner education is an important part of our approach. With that in mind, relevant observations, areas of tension or restriction and any recommendations that may help support your horse moving forward will be made at the end of the session
Following a session, your horse may show both positive changes and changes that highlight areas needing additional support. Each response is another piece of the puzzle, helping us better understand your horse, consider other contributing factors, and adjust our approach to best support them moving forward.
Can my horse receive bodywork if they are injuried or lame?
Bodywork is not a substitute for veterinary diagnosis or treatment. Horses experiencing unexplained or sudden lameness, acute injury, significant heat or swelling, fever or other concerning symptoms may need veterinary evaluation before bodywork is appropriate. We may need to postpone or modify a session when it is in the horse's best interest.
Does my horse need veterinary approval?
Veterinary approval requirements may vary by state and by your horse’s individual circumstances. For routine wellness bodywork, veterinary approval may not always be necessary. However, Equi-Librium Bodywork reserves the right to request veterinary approval before providing services when a horse has a known illness, injury, disease, is under current veterinary care, or presents with signs that may indicate bodywork could be contraindicated.
